Basic Coaching Classes are ideal for beginners who wish to learn the nuances of this exciting sport and are willing to invest the time and effort in this endeavour with regular attendance. Although each child will progress at his / her own pace, it is established that with regular sailing along with sufficient time on water, students can grasp the aspects of this sport in the finest way. Sailing School India - Course Curriculum:
- Knowledge of the different parts of the boats as well as their functions along with basic sailing jargon and boat care.
- Knowledge of the fundamental rules of sailing.
- Personal safety plus safety procedures while sailing such as ways to steer clear of collisions, drills, capsize recovery, paddling the vessel, towing and weather.
- Understanding the diverse points of sailing, tacking, gybing and how to launch, recover as well as sail a basic course.
- Ways of Rigging as well as Unrigging the boat with negligible supervision.
Certificates will be awarded as certified by the Royal Yachting Association (U.K.) and Yachting Association of India on successful completion of this course.

Advanced Coaching Classes are an ideal option for Students who have finished the Basic Training Program and have attained a minimum stage of proficiency in the sport. It is also applicable if they have trained elsewhere or have demonstrated a fundamental level of having achieved the necessary skills required in the Basic Course.
You can join the Advanced Class based on the discretion of the Head Coach following a scrupulous understanding of the skills of the Sailor. This is a good option for sailors who are eager to improve their racing skills and go on to take part at the state, district, national as well as international level competitive events.
Classes for this program are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
